Life On the Mountain
ACCOMODATION
There’s simply no greater gift after a day of braving the elements than the reaching your destination and being welcomed by the loving arms and warm smiles of locals inviting you home for the evening. Experience the beauty of connection and cultural immersion as you settle in to a quaint teahouse for the night; filling your belly with home-cooked meals, diving deep into conversation around a roaring fireplace, then turning on a nostalgic movie alongside fellow travellers. Learn local customs, fall asleep under the stars, and wake up to the smell of fresh coffee brewing before setting off on the day’s next adventure. All bed linens are provided, but expect slightly harder beds than you may be used to, cooler evening temperatures, and a lack of hot showers in the mountains. However believe us when we say that - what lacks in luxury will be made up for in unforgettable family-style experiences!
MEALS
Dal baht power, 24 hour! A mountain-rich diet is not complete without hearty lentils, vegetable curry, and steamed, fresh rice pipping hot and bottomless on the plate. Savour once-in-a-lifetime views with tea breaks in small shops along the way, and come together over simple, home-grown vegetarian Nepali cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Meet The Team
Aaron Dickfos
It’s not just the mountains that will see me zipping up my jacket and pulling on a pair of boots in the icy cold hours before dawn or running up steep banks with a backpack full of extra camera gear. It's the fact that every person and every place has some kind of magic to see if you're open to it. Through my lens, I’m able to share with others the way in which I see the beauty of this world.
